Contract Crews

AT YOUR SERVICE WHEN YOU NEED US

Medical Response Services have a number of NHS Trusts who contract our services. Crews are onsite between your specified times on your specified days. Your patient flow team and/or discharge teams liaise with our crews directly ensuring responsive, effective and efficient discharges for those patients aged 18 or over who qualify for NHS funded transport.

Our crews can routinely facilitate:

Sitter patients
Stretcher patients
Patients with their own wheelchair
End of life patients
Informal patients

We provide transfers to different locations:

Hospital to hospital
Hospital to home
Hospital to care or nursing home Out of area transfers

Examples of indicative service provision	Times	Days
2 person crew with dual purpose bariatric equipped ambulance	0900 – 2100	Monday – Sunday inclusive
Overnight service with 2 person crew and dual purpose bariatric ambulance	2100 – 0800	Monday – Thursday inclusive
2 person crew and dual purpose bariatric ambulance	1000 – 2100	Bank and public holidays

We understand that the costs for the provision of our services is, in the main, paid for using public money. We aim to provide cost effective solutions and can discuss costs with you based on your requirements.

Once a contract is agreed we are happy to formalise this using the NHS standard contract or we can supply our own Service Level Agreement
